Orthopedic Cupping

An ancient Chinese method aids modern muscle tension and pain using a vacuum applied directly to the affected area. It relieves stagnation and is used for releasing toxins, edema/swelling, pain, tension and stress from the body.
Contracted muscles will relax releasing trapped toxins that cause pain and stiffness while re-establishing circulation and bringing in fresh nutrients. It is a very relaxing technique that enhances lymphatic drainage while reducing inflammation and swelling. Works wonders following surgery to reduce swelling, increase healing.
Often, areas of tension or injury are too tense or tender to treat with
neuromuscular/deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy or cross-fiber friction. Orthopedic cupping is a gentle, non-invasive way to release fascial holding patterns, loosen scar tissue, and soften tissue so that specific massage techniques can be comfortably applied. Orthopedic cupping is effective for chronic pain, tightness, and spasms that are resistant to traditional therapies as well as post surgical procedures.
After dropping 40 pounds, Donna had loose skin. She decided to have the excess skin from her legs removed. They got swollen and infection set in resulting in a lot of pain and scarring. She had the excess skin from her arms removed next which went much better as she included Orthopedic cupping as soon as the incisions healed. She experienced less pain, swelling, scarring and quicker healing time. She commented that she wished she had done this with her legs too.

Thermography for Detection & Prevention

Breast cancer is the leading cause of death among American women between the ages of 44 and 55. Mammography is not as effective and safe as widely thought. About 70 percent of all positive mammograms do not, upon biopsy, show any presence of cancer. At the same time, mammograms also have a high rate of missed tumors, or “false negatives.” Dr. Samuel S. Epstein, in his book, The Politics of Cancer, claims that in women ages 40 to 49, one in four instances of cancer is missed at each mammography. Mammography also carries radiation risks. According to Russell L. Blaylock, MD, one estimate is that annual radiological breast exams increase the risk of breast cancer by two percent a year. So over 10 years the risk will have increased 20 percent.
Breast thermography is radiation free, non-invasive, FDA approved, relatively inexpensive, and detects early, potentially reversible physiologic changes associated with later development of breast cancer. “The potential to detect pre-cancerous changes is the real value of thermography” says Dr. Monica Gavin. “Early detection of tumors is not really prevention. True prevention is about identifying women, or more specifically breasts, that are at risk for developing tumors, and thermography does just that.”
The abnormalities thermography detects (like hyperthermia suggestive of inflammation and angiogenesis; metabolic changes suggestive of hormone imbalances) are correctable through nutritional and lifestyle interventions.
Thermography is also used to detect early signs of cardiovascular, diabetic and inflammatory diseases. As a detection/prevention tool, thermography is used to assist your healthcare provider in locating areas of concern for further evaluation and treatment. Early detection means you have more time to make lifestyle adjustments that can CHANGE YOUR OUTCOME!

Every wonder why your feel so tired and run down? Could it be the water or lack of it? Live cell analysis shows before and after drinking Kangen water. The cells on the left are clumped together slowing down metabolism, oxygenation and elimination. The cells on the right have been hydrated with oxygen rich Kangen water. They can perform efficiently increasing one’s health and well-being!
Kangen Water is alkalized, ionized and micro-clustered to leach toxins and free radicals from your body while oxygenating at the CELLULAR LEVEL! Bottled and tap water cannot do this because of extended shelf life and chemicals. Kangen water is fresh from YOUR tap. Giving you and your family the healthiest water available. Want to know more? Visit: www.ANewU4Ever.com
Did you know that, “Cancerous tissues are acidic, whereas healthy tissues are alkaline. Water splits into H+ and OH- ions, if there is an excess of H+, it is acidic; if there is an excess of OH- ions, then it is alkaline.”
In 1931, Otto Warburg was awarded the Nobel Prize in Medicine for this important discovery. Dr. Warburg was director of the Kaiser Wilhelm Institute (now Max Planck Institute) for cell physiology at Berlin. He investigated the metabolism of tumors and the respiration of cells, particularly cancer cells.
Your pH MUST be in balance to improve your health and reduce symptoms that result in illness and disease. Holistic water from Enagic Ionizers is the fastest and most economical way to do this! Think about it! Your body is 70% water. Every interaction in your body relies on water, so why not give it the best!

Dr. Hiromi Shinya, world renowned colon specialist and the pioneer of modern colonoscopic techniques has been quoted as saying that 90 percent of body ailments and diseases originate in the acidic and dirty colon. http://www.h2oreport.com/?p=38 Patients have experienced 0% cancer recurrence rate when following his dietary guidelines and drinking Kangen water. http://kangenwaterblog.com/hiromi-shinya-md-gets-0-cancer-recurrence-rate/
An Hour of Prevention
You know the old proverb, “an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.” Well, I’m going to add some new dimensions to it. How about, “An hour of prevention to maintain cure or to stay well?”
Wellness is on everyone’s mind as healthcare prices soar and coverage plummets. We are tired of pills, shots, surgeries and other means that are only masking or reducing the symptoms, not fixing the root cause of our problems. We want our money’s worth when it comes to our healthcare. Where do we get it and how does it work?
The human body is 80% soft tissue. Many illnesses are soft tissue related. The majority of pain occurs in the muscles, tendons or ligaments, which are soft tissue and need someone that understands their mechanics in order to reduce the pain and promote healing. Where does one go for such work? Who is qualified to work on these issues? What type of treatment will help these conditions?
Massage Therapists are Soft Tissue Specialists with advanced training in the anatomy, physiology and the mechanics of the human body. They understand how muscles and connective tissue function and interact. Imbalance results in a host of maladies that are not only treatable, but preventable through regular massage therapy, stretching and exercise.
One hour/week will be your best ally in preventing many forms of pain and dis-ease. Aside from being extremely effective in relieving stress, there is scientific evidence showing that massage helps with a variety of conditions, such as:
➔ Adhesions, scars and stretch marks
➔ Anxiety
➔ Arthritis
➔ Asthma
➔ Back and body pain, stiffness and soreness
➔ Chronic and acute pain
➔ Depression
➔ Easing birth labor
➔ Edema and swelling
➔ Fatigue
➔ Fibromyalgia
➔ Headaches
➔ High blood pressure
➔ Improved mental focus
➔ Improved immune function
➔ Improved mobility
➔ Increased productivity
➔ Joint pain
➔ Muscle strains and sprains
➔ Post-traumatic stress disorder
➔ Relaxation
➔ Sleep Disorders
➔ Sports Injuries
➔ STRESS
➔ Tendonitis
➔ Trauma
➔ Whiplash
Massage is an ancient art of healing. I discovered massage following an accident that resulted in extreme pain and reduced function. It has given my life back and I have vowed to share the healing power of touch with those desiring a better quality of life through natural means.
So, if you are ready to feel better and maintain your health, make massage a part of your wellness program. Our therapists’ training includes: Neuromuscular, Cranio-Sacral, Manual Lymph Drainage, Orthopedic, Cupping, Trauma, Chronic and Acute Pain, and much more.
